Cross Trail

There is a great spot on the Cross Trail in Sitka, AK where you can see the mountains in contrast with the muskeg.

Japonsky Bridge

This is the bridge in Sitka that connects Japonsky island (where the airport is) to the rest of town.  The views are always spectacular around here.

Rays on the Beaches of Alaska

This beach is right next to our place in Sitka, AK.  Whenever the sun and mountains are out in Sitka its always a good day.

 Here is one my favorite buildings on the Sheldon Jackson campus in Sitka, AK. If you ever get a chance to visit Sitka, this campus has a great aesthetic. 

Oregon Vacation

I was recently visiting my family in Oregon.  This day, in particular, I was waiting for my girlfriend's flight to come in from Seattle just before Christmas.  I was walking around Mt. Tabor when I snapped this picture. 

View from the grocery store

Believe it or not, this is the view from Sea-Mart, a grocery store in Sitka, AK.  The sunset was pretty crazy looking that day. 

Totem Park by day

I live next to Sitka National Historical Park in Sitka, AK and here is one of the totem poles I run by very often.  The weather was a little overcast but the colors on the totem poles really pop.

Rainbow boats, rainbow skies.

Here is a rainbow next to a boat in Sitka, AK.  It just stopped raining enough for me to get this picture in but it is one of my favorites, though.
